We are four visionary women who share a common love of teaching . Top in our respective fields, each of us has a passion for empowering others whether through our teaching, training, coaching, or hands-on healing arts modalities. Together we have a combined teaching and practicing experience of 67 years.
We all met while teaching out in the community and at a local career college. In talking with each other and our students, we began to realize that there was a need for a center which would provide a holistic approach to education missing from most formal curriculums. We also felt that such a center would be a valuable resource to the Nashville community.
Drawn together by a desire to meet this need and each being very creative, we started by sharing our visions with each other, passing the feather as we took turns speaking from our hearts. We were not exactly sure of what we all wanted, but we knew we wanted to do some kind of center and/or school that would be a light for the community.
After many months and much devoted work, we finally formed our LLC. Finding a place to begin this center took a little longer than we thought, because we knew it had to be able support a myriad of types of classes. After about 2 months of concentrated searching and deliberating, we found our perfect location and East Meets West Holistic Education Center was born.
While we have goals and visions of what to do, we also realize that things need to flow and unfold on their own, naturally. We invite you to share in our journey of birth, growth and the unfolding of many great things to come.
